Welcome to Cuadra — why we built v2

Published on April 24, 2026 · 4 min read

When we launched the first version of Cuadra, the goal was simple: let a small business in Guatemala charge, book and invoice without hiring three consultants. It worked — more than we expected. But we also learned a lot.

What changed in v2

We rewrote the engine from scratch. Not out of technical vanity, but because the original version carried decisions that held us back: a database that was costly to maintain, a POS that didn't work well without internet, and a FEL invoicing flow that required needless manual steps.

  • A faster POS with real offline mode
  • Fully integrated FEL — the invoice goes out the moment you charge, no extra steps
  • Per-branch inventory with one-click transfers
  • Automatic WhatsApp reminders
  • Reports you can actually read and export

Try it before you pay

One of the things we care about most is that the price reflects the real value. So you get 14 days of the full Pro plan — not a trimmed-down version, the whole thing — and nothing is charged until day 15.

After that it is a flat monthly price: Q249.00 on Pro, with no commission per sale. Sell twice as much next month and you pay the same. That feels like the only honest way to charge a business still finding its rhythm, because charging per sale means charging you more exactly when things are going well.

And if Cuadra is not working for you within 30 days, we refund every quetzal.

What's next

Over the coming weeks we'll keep opening up more capabilities: WhatsApp Business integrations, points-based loyalty, clinical records for clinics, and much more. If you have an idea or feedback, write to us at hola@cuadra.gt — we read everything.
