Every stylist gets a calendar, and clients book themselves in

Each stylist has their own calendar, working hours and breaks, with the real duration of every service. Your clients open your link (cuadra.gt/your-salon), see only the slots that are genuinely free, and book at eleven at night, long after you locked up. The booking drops straight into the calendar and holds the time, so nobody ends up with two clients in the same chair. If someone cancels, the waitlist tells you who to call to fill the gap.

Take a deposit and stop giving the chair away

You ask for a deposit at booking, and the slot is only held once it is paid; if it is not, the time goes back on the board for someone else. The WhatsApp reminder goes out before the appointment, and the client confirms, reschedules or cancels from that same message. If she still does not turn up, you mark the appointment a no-show: keep the deposit, or apply the fee you have configured. And the no-show report by professional tells you whose appointments are falling through, not just how many.

Every stylist's commission is worked out when the sale closes

You set each stylist's percentage — per person or per service — and the commission adds itself up with every sale rung at the counter. At the end of the pay period you open the per-person report and see what she sold and what she is owed, with no calculator and no argument. Tips are recorded separately, with their own split report. Big discounts and voids ask for a manager PIN, so nobody drops a price in the chair.

Invoice, receipt or credit note filed with the SAT, in the same checkout

You take the payment and the DTE is certified with the SAT in seconds. If the client gives you her NIT, the invoice goes out in her name; if she does not, it goes out to a final consumer. If you are registered as a pequeño contribuyente, Cuadra issues the document your tax regime calls for, not the general-regime invoice. Got one wrong? No invoice is ever deleted — the law is explicit about that — you issue a credit note and both stay on the record. Pro includes 250 DTE a month, and Q0.75 per DTE after that.

What you sell and what you use up, counted separately

The shampoo you sell off the shelf comes out of inventory with every sale and warns you when it is running low. The color and developer used up in the chair are recorded as shrinkage with a reason, and the shrinkage report shows you, by reason and by branch, where the product is going. That is the difference between knowing what you sold and knowing what you kept.

The color formula and the history of every client

Each client record keeps the color formulas — brand, level, tones, developer and processing time — with a button to reuse last month's without typing it out again. Alongside it sit her visits, her purchases, her notes, her signed consents and her loyalty points, which she can keep in Apple or Google Wallet. When she comes back, you type her name and know exactly what you did last time.

I used to close the salon at 8 just to balance the books. With Cuadra I close at 6 and I'm home reading to my daughters again.

Frequently asked questions

  • How much does salon software cost in Guatemala?
Cuadra Pro is Q249 a month, or Q2,490 a year (two months free). It covers appointments, point of sale, inventory, clients, commissions, your own branding and 250 FEL DTE a month; after those, Q0.75 per DTE. Premium is Q500 a month if you need more than three branches. There is no cut of your sales: however much you sell, the plan costs the same.
  • Can each stylist have her own calendar?
Yes. Every stylist has a calendar, working hours and breaks, with each service's duration set per person. A client can book a specific stylist, or just the service if she has no preference. You see every calendar side by side on one screen.
  • How do I take a deposit so clients stop standing me up?
Your booking page asks for a deposit up front. The slot is only held once the payment lands; if it does not, the time stays open. If the client never arrives, you mark the appointment a no-show and can keep that deposit. The no-show report by professional shows you where the problem is concentrated.
  • Does Cuadra work out my stylists' commissions?
Yes. You set a percentage per person or per service and the commission adds up with every sale closed at the point of sale. The per-person report shows what was sold and what was earned over the period, ready to pay out. Tips are recorded separately, with their own split report.
  • Can I issue electronic invoices from the salon?
Yes. When you close the sale, Cuadra issues the DTE certified with the SAT: invoice, receipt, credit note or debit note. If the client gives her NIT, the invoice goes out in her name; if not, it is issued to a final consumer. If you are registered as a pequeño contribuyente, the document for your regime is issued instead.
  • Do I need a card to try it?
You add your card when you create the account, but nothing is charged for the first 14 days. Cancel before day 15 and you pay nothing. Cuadra never sees your card — Recurrente holds it — and you cancel in one click from Settings.
